Challenge Series
For more than a decade, the Rotary Club of North Whidbey Sunrise has given children with special needs an opportunity to experience the "thrill of victory" by providing the Challenge Series, a morning of "soapbox derby" style racing down Barrington Hill in Oak Harbor.

2008 Challenge Series
This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, and you are cordially invited to attend the festivities - from Island Thrift Shop at the top of S.E. Barrington down to the Post Office at the bottom of the hill. Racing begins at 10 a.m. with the awards ceremony scheduled for noon.
How can you help?
The North Whidbey Island Sunrise Rotary Club has experienced the support and giving of the community for this event and encourage both local businesses and individuals to continue their support.
We hope to raise $25,000 from this event to help defray the costs of this special event and provide funding for worthy Rotary projects throughout the year, like our Wheelchair program.
